1) Steam at 3 MPa and 400 C enters an adiabatic nozzle steadily with a velocity of 40 m/s and leaves at 2.5 MPa and 300 m/s. Determine the exit temperature of the steam in C.

2) 3kg of R22 in a piston-cylinder is initially at a pressure of 0.30 MPa and volume of 0.15 m3. The system is then heated by 305 kJ and the piston expands slowly. Determine the final temperature in Celsius of the R22.
