3. Based on your analysis in question 2 above, was the choice of a Chinese partner, and Fundamental Films in particular, appropriate? Were
a non-equity alliance and an equity alliance the right choices for both EuropaCorp and Fundamental Films?
4. In early 2018, rumors emerged that Netflix was in serious discussions to acquire EuropaCorp with Besson remaining to oversee the creative side of the business. What do you think was the rationale for this acquisition and what would have been the potential synergies?
