Discuss the presence of pt as a catalyst

Compound "Q" has a molecular formula c6h10. Q reacts rapidly with br2/ccl4 and also reacts rapidly with cold, concentrated h2so4. when Q is treated with excess h2 in the presence of pt as a catalyst, it yeilds hexane. When Q is oxidized with hot basic kmno4 and the resulting solution is acidified, the only organic product isolated is a carboxylic acid. Propose a structural formula (condensed or bondline) that represents "Q".
