Discusison: Overview & Social Interventions
Issue Post:
The discussion topic focuses on community-based interventions and the role of community psychologists as agents of social change. Consider and respond to the following. Be sure to draw from and cite required readings as well as your own personal and professional experiences and other sources of knowledge.
Compare and contrast ameliorative vs. transformative interventions in psychology. Select a social issue and describe how you would address the issue from an ameliorative vs. a transformative approach.
