Assignment:
The current event essay assignment will be completed in teams of 2 to 3 students assigned by the professor. You will be required to write a two-page (single spaced) report on a news article from a recent edition of The Economist magazine. Attached you will find the article to read.
As part of the report, you should also include references to external sources to illustrate that you have researched the topic beyond the article in The Economist. You are free to choose your own style guide (e.g., MLA, APA, Chicago Manual), but make sure that you stick to it throughout your paper. This essay should not simply be a summary of your selected article, but rather an analysis.
