Mean, Median, Mode: Which is best?
We use three different measures to describe the center of a set of data. There are several factors to consider when making our choice of measure of central location.
Compare the three measures and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Using this information, solve the following:
The number of sick days due to colds and flu last year was recorded by a sample of 15 adults. The data are:

1. Determine the mean, median, and mode of these data.
2. What do these statistics tell you about the sick days due to colds and flu the previous year?
