Select a unique country; first come first served; use a variety of website links including www.cia.gov to find answers to the following questions; prepare a written report (3 pages)
Current status of government and economy: give us some idea of the major political players, the degree of stability of the government and economy, and your assessment of any major risks in doing business there.
Demographics: how is the age or wealth distribution? Do you anticipate that they will change dramatically in the near future?
Business Culture: which items are noticeably different from the business culture of the United States? How could you commit a business faux pas?
Travel Warnings: If we travel there, what areas should we avoid?
Foreign Direct Investment: check the figures for the last 5-7 years. Is there a trend upward or downward?
Local Currency: is it convertible? Is it weakening or strengthening against the dollar?
