Discussion Topic: Discuss why faculty might have a difficult time with the concept of a college president. In your post, consider the concept of academic freedom and the concern of college leaders with a business background rather than an academic one. For example, what concerns might arise if a college board hires a CEO from the corporate world to run a brick-and-mortar school, but the person has had little or no time in the classroom? What problems might arise?
