a) Key factors to consider during the production process would be the manpower and machine capabilities. It would not be wise to schedule a job that you do not have the manpower or machine capability to complete.
b) Other important factors to consider is the due date of the product. Can your machine and manpower complete the scheduled contract and have it shipped out in time for the customer? Will it compromise other contracts in place when you shift the priorities of previously scheduled contracts?
