Calculate the energy supplied by heating and energy rejected


A simple ideal Brayton cycle with air as the working fluid has a pressure ratio of 11. The air enters the compressor at 300 K and the turbine at 1200 K.

Calculate the;

i. energy supplied by heating,
ii. energy rejected,
iii. net work per cycle, and
iv. ideal thermal efficiency.
Sketch the cycle on a p - v diagram.
