In the year 1953, Stanley Miller arranged the experimental apparatus which simulated the atmospheric conditions of the primitive earth. The experiment comprised of the mixture of ammonia, methane, hydrogen and circulating water which when heated was changed into the vapor. He poured the mixture to the continuous bombardment of electrical discharge and after days obtained the liquid residual inside which he realized the organic molecules and among them surprisingly amino acids glycine and alanine, are the most abundant components of proteins. Other researchers redeveloped the Miller experiment and noted also the making of other organic molecules like carbohydrates, lipids, and the nucleotides.
