Managerial functions of HRM are:

1. Planning:  The planning meaning is human resource department has to take some steps in finding beforehand personnel necessities, personnel programs, policies etc.

2. Organization:  Human resource manager has to organize the proper functioning by designing arrangement of association among jobs, people and physical factors in a way so that to achieve maximum contribution towards organizational goal.

3. Directing: Directing is concerned with start of planned action and motivating the people to work. The personnel manager divides the activities to people of the firm. A personnel manager directs and encourages the staff of the organization to pursue the path laid down in advance.
