The Interagency GPS Executive Board (abbreviated as IGEB) was an agency of the United States federal government which sought to integrate the requirements and wants of different governmental agencies into formal Global Positioning System Planning. GPS was organized by the Department of Defense, however had grown to service a wide range of constituents. The majority of GPS employs are now non-military; therefore this board was fundamental in making sure the requirements of non-military users.
