Explain the several encoding techniques? Also describe how does the NRZ-L differ from the NRZ-I?
Expert
Different techniques of the encoding are as follows:
a) NRZ
b) NRZI
c) Manchester
d) 4B/5B
In the NRZ-L sequence, the positive and the negative voltages have particular meanings: positive for 0 and negative for 1 whereas in the NRZ-I sequence, the voltages are generally meaningless.
