Precautions that are to be taken are listed as follows:

a) Individuals that are handling MOSFET devices and their workplaces must be grounded.

b) Whenever a chip is out of the circuit, it must be inserted within the special conductive foam which efficiently shorts all pins alltogether.

c) Within the system design, all the unused pins must be attached to the ground or to the supply voltage.
