Security analysis consists of two types of analysis termed as, technical analysis and fundamental analysis.

Fundamental analysis takes into account three kinds of analysis which are illustrated below:

- Economy analysis

- Industry analysis

- Company analysis

Technical analysis assists in forecasting the prospect price of share on base of historical movements of price.
