On-the-Job Training Methods:  This type of training is imparted on the job and at the work place.
Following are different types of on job training:

i) On Specific Job: On the job training methods is used to provide training for a specific job.

(a) Experience: Learning by experience.

(b) Coaching:  On-the-Job coaching by the superior.

ii) Job Rotation: It helps in broadening of the background of trainee in the organisation.

iii) Special Projects: The trainees are asked to execute special assignment; thereby he gains knowledge of the work procedure.

iv) Apprenticeship: the trainee is placed under a qualified supervisor or instructor for a long period of time.

v) Vestibule Training:  Under this method, actual work conditions are created in a class room or a workshop.

vi) Multiple Management: This method use committees to boost the flow of ideas from less experience managers and to prepare them for positions of bigger responsibility.
