Different amino acid-essentially identical proteins
Are proteins with same number of each different amino acid that forms them essentially identical proteins?
Expert
Even if various proteins have the same number of each different amino acid which forms them, for instance, 20 histidines, 70 glycines and 50 alanines, the sequences in which these amino acids are linked might be very different. So if two or more proteins are in such situation of numeric resemblance for each type of their constituent amino acids, they aren’t essentially identical.
