Deareator  is used in order to form a very high pressure and temperature for the boiler feed water pump and it discharge high pressure water into the boiler. And in order to give the required Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) for BFW pump and to serve as the storage tank in order to ensure a continuous supply of the feed water during the rapid changes in BFP.
