Final Exam Assignment
You are a middle level manager. As part of an effort to improve company-wide communication, you have been asked to prepare information on key characteristics of effective business communication such as knowing your audience and clarity of message. Your audience will consist of your peers as well as persons you supervise and persons to whom you report.
Part 1: The Information
- Reflect on what you have learned about how to communicate in a professional environment. Then identify 5 characteristics you believe are critical to successful business communications.
- Describe each characteristic and state why you believe it is critical.
- For each characteristic include a minimum of one chapter and page reference from the textbook to support your opinion
Part 2: Delivering the Information
- Prepare a formal report, PowerPoint presentation or an interoffice memo for the audience described above.
- Provide a justification for whichever method you select.
