Course Projects Assignment
Students should divide themselves into groups of 2 and then choose one of the following ideas:
1. Liquid Level Monitoring and control using a PC.
Requirements of the project
Students are expected to:
1. Design and implement using Multisim, sensors (as required), a DAQ board and then interface it with a PC.
2. The DAQ board should be made up of
a. Signal conditioning circuit
b. Digital to analog conversion circuit
c. Analog to Digital conversion circuit
3. Write a program (using C ) to interface the DAC board to the PC
4. Submit a report with the following format
a. Introduction
b. Literature review
c. Components : which components are used in the circuit and why they were chosen
d. Circuit Diagram: should include a description of the circuit
e. Circuit operation
f. Results
g. Comments and Discussion
h. References
5. Present your project.
