Lab Assignment: Operating System
With this assignment, you will compare and contrast the three most common personal computer operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, or Linux. Using the textbook, class support information, and the Internet, provide the information requested in the Operating System form for each of these operating systems. Some of the information will require research on the Internet.

1. Operating System Comparison
a. Fill in the requested information for each listed Operating System.
- The questions are not the same for each OS.
b. You will need to do some research on the Internet to complete this section
PART 2 - Advantages/Disadvantages
2. Advantages/Disadvantages of Operating Systems
a. List two advantages for each OS
b. List two disadvantages for each OS
- The advantages/disadvantages could be a comparison to one of the other OS' in this lab
- The goal is unique advantages/disadvantages.
- Avoid using what you typed as an advantage for one OS as a disadvantage for another OS.
Example of what to avoid:
Windows Advantage: There are a lot of games available for a computer running Windows OS Linux Disadvantage: There are very few games available for a computer running Linux OS.
