Why the solubility does not increase with amount of solid

Imagine two flasks each with 1.0 L of a saturated solution of glucose. One solution has 1 g of glucose at the bottom. The other solution has 100 g of glucose at the bottom. The surface area of 100 g of glucose is much larger than that of 1 g. Explain why the solubility does not increase with the amount of solid deposited at the bottom of the flask.
