Why the entropy and enthalpy changes are both negative

At 39oC ordered helix to a disordered coil in ethylene-dichloride-dichoroacetic acid solvent and 1 atm the synthetic polybenzyl-L-glutamate undergoes a transition from. The enthalpy change of the transition is -4.0 kJ/mol and entropy change, -12J/K. This transition is expected to have appositive entropy change and enthalpy change, but it is not the case.

1. Why the entropy and enthalpy changes are both negative for polybenzyl-L-glutamate?

2. Which phase ordered or coil will favor when increasing the temperature?
