Clocks and watches are taboo in many Asian countries because timepieces are reminders of mortality.

What's the most valued employee performance reward in the U.S.? What reward motivates you the most at work? Can you share examples of rewards offered by a manager that were not motivational?

Research and share more examples from around the world with your classmates. How would you as a future global manager determine how to motivate your employees in different countries?
