Problem: Two strategies that can be used for leading change are continued education, and a clear plan. Having continued education is important, "learning interventions needed to be considered as part of an ongoing process, rather than standalone events" (Hannon. 2014). Also with continued education something may change or be brought in, and staff will need new education to stay up to date on what is going on. As well as having a clear plan with the change. Something is going to come up and pivoting will be needed, but making sure staff and the executive team know where the change is headed is important. It just like getting in water if it muddy and murky people will not want to get in, but if its clear people will dive right in. Both strategies help keeps these stakeholders involved. Having your most vocal critic involved is good for two reasons. They are vocalizing what is not going to work or what the barriers are, allowing you a chance to fix it. As well as giving them a better idea on why this change is important, and the reasons behind it.
