Discussion Post: Control Account Planning: Work Packages and Planning Packages
The focus on detailed, low-level planning seems to be out of place in a high-level academic course. Explain why the executive-level, portfolio manager, or the high-level program manager must have more than a passing knowledge of the concepts for organizing control accounts, work packages, and planning packages.
