Why can not the reaction be second order

Suppose you conclude that the reaction order n=0 for a reaction with t half-life at 10 min, 20 min, and 40 min, because half-life is dependent on the concentration. But why can't the reaction be second order (n=2) where half-life is also concentration-dependent?
