Assignment Topic: Which methods are most effective at reducing bullying in schools?
For this Assignment, you will create a proposal for your final project detailing the process you intend to follow for your Unit 9 Assignment. This proposal will be in a PowerPoint format with an audio component and will include some of the general education elements of the Liberal Studies degree outcomes for an interdisciplinary approach.
Before starting the Assignment, review the Unit 3 Learning Activity and the unit Reading on choosing a topic, narrowing the topic, thesis development, effective PowerPoint presentations, and other information on the writing process.
After you have reviewed the materials from the unit, locate three articles in the Library from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals. The articles should relate to your career choice and to the courses that you have taken in this degree program. This proposal will require you to communicate your plan to apply critical thinking skills as you find credible sources that support your analysis of the general education elements.
For example, if your program specific career is leadership in business and the general education topic is communication, find an article on effective communication for leaders. As another example, if your program specific career is teaching and the general education topic is technology, find an article on new ways of teaching through the latest technology.
Then, keeping the scientific method process in mind, begin to create a proposal for completing your Unit 9 Assignment. This proposal should be 10 slides. The headings to include in your proposal are:

Oral Component
As a part of the Unit 3 Assignment, you will need to include an audio recording for slides 2-9, presenting the content of your PowerPoint presentation and informing the reader (your instructor) about your ideas and findings building the draft. Your recording for each slide should be in Standard English, spoken with well-organized and original thoughts, clear enunciation, and use a proper academic/professional tone throughout. Be sure to use logical and developed viewpoints to discuss the information on each slide, supporting your conclusions with references, as appropriate. You should not read the content directly off the slide, but rather, be able to summarize the information presented. Additionally, your audio presentation should be free of loud/distracting background noise or interference.

Assignment Guidelines:
Use PowerPoint to create your 10-slide proposal (including the title and reference slides), following the structure provided above. All content should be kept ordered on a slide and easy to read, with viewpoints clearly established and sustained. This presentation should be written in Standard English, using 12-point Times New Roman font, and use APA formatting. You should also carefully proofread your Assignment before turning it in so that it is free of grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
