Assignment: Leadership Reflection
The objective of the leadership reflection essay is to surface your personal ideas about leadership and align them with theory to strengthen your ability to lead. As you have moved through the modules in the course and viewed the various films, you have been exposed to a variety of leadership models as well as viewed quite a few films that relate to leadership.
For this assignment, take some time to reflect on the previous material and consider what components of leadership align with your personal implicit theory of leadership. There is no specific way to approach this reflection assignment but here are some questions to consider:
a) Was that ILT challenged?
b) Was it supported?
c) Which film helped develop your own leadership style and why
d) What approach to leadership will you attempt to adopt in your own position of authority?
Write a brief essay of 1,200 to 1,500 words reviewing your leadership style and describing what components of the course may have helped strengthen it.
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.
• The response also includes a cover page containing the student's name, the title of the assignment, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
