I chose an article that used what's called StART assessment. StART stands for Standard Assessment for Reaction Time (Lempke et. al., 2023). This article went over a study done to test individuals with their reaction time while suffering from a concussion. The main purpose of this experiment is to determine the damage and be able to diagnose and treat them. It concluded that the results were called 'unique' (Lempke et. al., 2023). There was no patterns. The data was categorized by gender and age range, yet there was not trends found.
I honestly wouldn't utilize this assessment for my school counseling career. It specifically states that those who self reported had a learning disability were excluded from the study (Lempke et. al., 2023). This assessment can be beneficial for the athletics department, but it doesn't benefit all students. Need Assignment Help?
