What would be your advise to your colleague, you both just graduated in your field of study. You worked while in school, in the field, you had an internship, or you work part-time in the field, but your colleague, attended school without gaining any experience in the field upon graduating, with the exception of obtaining the degree; therefore, they have little to no experience. What would your advise be to them, they have been looking for a job, but have no hands on experience in the field and they come to you for advise? If the employer is looking for specific qualifications and they have never worked in the field, but do have the degree in that field, what should they focus on in trying to obtain job in their field.
