Problem:
Respond to this discussion with around 100 words and make it seem like a human wrote it When you think about bereavement or death do you feel that it makes a difference in how the person being mourned dies? For instance, if a loved one died by suicide vs in an accident or from an illness? I feel that how a person dies does affect how they are mourned, or rather what stages of grief may be more prominent. If a loved on dies by suicide those who are grieving them may feel more anger or guilt than for someone who dies after a long decline from old age. For an accident, denial might be more expected than someone who died from illness. From my experience, I can see how confusing grief might feel after the death of someone who has been ill for some time since acceptance can come so quickly even though you feel sad. How does your faith or spiritual beliefs influence how you view bereavement, grief & mourning? I believe that spiritual beliefs definitely influence how you view bereavement and grief. In particular, having Christian beliefs often give people hope that they will be able to see their loved ones again in the future or that they are in a better place and not suffering. These can be powerful beliefs for coping, unless you feel that the person who died was "not saved" then I could see it being very distressing. What role does culture play in bereavement, grief, and mourning? Culture can dictate proper steps taken for preparing the dead or other rites. Need Assignment Help?
