What was your ah-ha moment at what point did you really

Think back on your various academic courses. What personal skills did you have to learn, how did you apply them, how did you use this to achieve greater academic success? What specific time(s) or incident(s) "struck a cord"? Make a list to help you. Now focus on one or two of these incidents that most relate to personal leadership growth.

Personal Leadership is considered the ability to define a direction for your leadership and life, and to move in that direction with consistency and clarity. When you practice personal leadership, you "lead from the inside out".
Write a 2-3 pg single-spaced narrative detailing this/these incident(s) or event(s). Be as detailed and descriptive as you can. Include what you felt, how you reacted, what people said, etc.

Business communication is about conveying ideas using crisp, clear, concise language. After you have finished your narrative, compose, in no more than 150 words, a personal reflection about personal academic leadership.
Refer to Chapter 1: Visionary Leadership and Chapter 9: Motivational Toolkit for leadership vocabulary and concepts and use these in your reflection.

Use the following prompts to help you:

i. What was the most challenging idea / concept / piece of information you encountered?

i. What thoughts / worries / concerns did you have regarding this?

ii. What was your "ah-ha moment"? At what point did you really truly understand something about personal academic leadership?

iii. Describe the impact of this insight?

Name one-two ways you will apply what you've learned.
