Spanking the Foster Child
Briefly explain why you selected the case study you identified.
I selected Case Study 26 only because I grew up with a lot of kids that where adopted. We would always get together growing up. What I notice is that foster kids would only tell you if they were adopted if they knew. This kids had a lot going on in their lives, let along being with a total Stanger who will be called there new family. I believe a foster kid is to admire only because it would take a lot for a little boy/girl to enter a new life.
I really look up to this kids a lot for their choragus, self-depended and self motived on a new family. I also think as a foster parent, it is important to lovingly discipline your foster children to help them learn the appropriate ways to behave. Goals of discipline are to teach the child to evaluate his own behavior, and to adjust it accordingly. It is important not to show anger to your foster child or to treat him unfairly. Remember that you are teaching him lessons that he may not have learned with his birth family. Stay patient and loving, while consistently administering discipline.
