• Describe the most commonforms of cheating in the classroom and the clinical area.

Cellphones encourage academic dishonesty in various ways. They can be used to look up answers from the internet or communicate with friends who provide a student with answers necessary to complete an exam or assignment. In the scenario given above, the student retrieves their phone to look up answers during an examination, and this is an example of how cellphones can be used to cheat.

Buying tests and papers online is also another way of conducting academic dishonesty. Research papers and projects are done over a long period due to the vast content and constant direction from the lecturer. Most students opt to buy documents online that have been professionally written to reduce the hustle of corrections and not conduct the research themselves.

Academic dishonesty is achieved by hiring someone to take an online test. Online tests are not closely monitored as those done in examination halls. The internet allows some students to engage others to take the tests on their behalf.

Copying someone's work is during an exam is also a form of cheating.

• What should the nursing students do regarding what they witnessed during the exam? Why is it essentialfor them to do anything?

Nursing is a profession driven by morals and ethics. Therefore, the nursing students should report the incident to the supervisor to ensure that cheating students are reprimanded for reducing the percentage of nursing students who act unethically. There is a possibility that such behavior translates to their work ethic and may consequently put patients at risk.

The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
