What should be done to address the problem of retirement security? VERSA does not require any employer to offer a pension plan, and most plans can be terminated without much trouble. What might induce nonunion employers to offer a defined benefit pension plan to workers?
Are younger workers adequately informed about the nature of pension programs in this country? How might they be better informed?
