Task
You will begin exploring an issue and corresponding policy on which to focus in your Lobbying Strategy Project. Given the short time frame for this multi-part assignment, you are strongly encouraged to identify policy solutions (for example, bills or acts) that are being or already have been proposed rather than develop your own policy proposal in Fresno California. Housing Guarantee for the city's citizens is an example. You should rely on the steps articulated in Libby (2020) in shaping your post.
Address the following in your original post:
1. What is the problem you want to address?
2. What policies might best address this problem?
3. On what level(s) (local, state, or federal) should these policies be enacted?
4. What bills or policy proposals already exist that touch on either your solution or your identified problem?
5. What resources might you use to inform yourself about the problem, the policy, the current status of the policy, support for or opposition to the policy, and costs associated with the passage of the policy?
6. What support, advice, or information could you use from your classmates?
