After the jury is empaneled, it becomes clear that jurors are very sympathetic to Jeffery's claim that he has found God since the alleged crime took place. Even though the evidence clearly shows that Jeffery committed the murder, the jury decides to acquit. What option(s) does the State have to overturn the jury's verdict? Explain your answer briefly.

3) Congress passes a law requiring the Environmental Protection Agency to introduce new fuel economy standards for all vehicles. The law states that the standard has to be between 25 and 35 miles per gallon. The EPA writes a rule calling for 60 miles per gallon standard. A car manufacturer sues the EPA. Is their lawsuit likely to be successful? Why or why not?
