Problem: Think for Islam as well as other religions they do need to maintain certain traditions and beliefs. For Islam they should continue to practice with their daily prayers and celebrating their holidays or holy days. If they do not stick to these practices, then I believe the core beliefs of that religion will be lost. I also think it is important to maintain their social and cultural customs because this also builds a person's connection and closeness with God. If they stop maintaining these things then how would the younger generation be taught the true meaning and beliefs of this religion. Eventually overtime the religion could be interrupted in a manner that is very different from where/how it started and its true meaning. To integrate into Western culture, I think they need to be willing to engage with people of different beliefs. I also think it is important for the younger generation to be able to adapt more to a western way of life by being able to practice their religion but know that gender roles may be different, and households may be run differently.
