What made you choose them for your speech

Problem

This activity is designed to give you a chance to learn more about someone you admire from history. How were they unique, different and what made you choose them for your speech? This might be someone with whom your audience is very familiar, in which case you will want to find out some unusual or lesser-known facts to "hook your audience" and make them curious about this person. Now that you have this information, how would you arrange it to introduce this person? Organization is key and a short outline will once again be required with work cited page.

It is always fun and interesting to learn about famous figures from the past and we (i.e., the class) is counting on you to provide this information. Once again, this is a very short presentation. But that said, it is always best to have lots of information from which to draw your speech and the more knowledge you have, the more credible you will be as a presenter.
