• My favorite store is Target. It is a corporate chain. It is known to be a hypermarket also known as a supermarket. They have 1,799 stores and 38 distribution centers in the United States. They also have the online business.

• Marketing channel for consumers is an indirect channel (B). They purchase products from the producer in large quantities and quantities that will bring their cost into effect and re-sell it in the store.

• They also use internet-marketing channels, where consumers are allowed to purchase what is in stock at their distribution centers.

• Target has a variety of products and department. They have clothing/ shoes for men, women, and kids. They have a furniture, electronics, toys, movies, groceries, and beauty, health and pharmacy products as well. Although their product may be a little more expensive than other Superstores like Walmart, the quality of their product, especially clothing is worth the money that you are spending.

• Target uses advertising through social media, television advertisement, in the newspaper, and billboards.

• Target has a Price Match strategy, which is when you purchase an item at a certain price, and a couple days later you find the price of that item at lower cost at another store, you can take proof and Target will adjust the cost and lower you price. However, you have to take the proof within 14 days of your purchase.

• There is approximately 100 Target stores in the state of Illinois.

• Many people who shop at Target usually say that they are going to but one item but end up buy multiple. Because Target sell product of great quality and because their prices a little more expensive, I feel like it pushes consumers away from this store. More consumers would rather shop at Walmart because of their everyday low prices.
