Anthropologists have made numerous contributions to the study of sex and gender, as you saw in chapter 12. The National Geographic documentary video, "India's Third Gender Movement" takes a closer look at society with more than two genders and the issues people in those societies face.
Instructions:
When you are done watching the video answer the following questions by referring to specific information from the video when appropriate, NOT other sources:
a) What is the difference between sex and gender?
b) According to the video, why does the society featured have more than one gender, and does it improve the lives of people in those societies?
c) How many genders do you think our society has?
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
