Describe at least one way that you see this line contributing to a theme in the text. Be specific and use specific examples.

Read Hamlet's first soliloquy carefully (Act 1, scene 2). What is it that is really bothering him about what has happened since his father's death? How would you describe the tone of his feelings detached, impassioned, rational, ironic, or?
