Assignment task:
This exercise will extend your knowledge on components via a video hosted by Martin Fowler. Here's the YouTUbe Video: Martin Fowler - Microservices
Part 1: Review the video and provide a brief summary. Think of the kind of recap you would want to share or receive with a colleague or a manager. Example: a few paragraphs at most. The video lasts about 25 minutes, so plan accordingly.
Part 2: Answer the following questions.
1) What is a microservice? What are some pro's about using them and what are some things to watch out for?
2) What is a chaos monkey?
3) What is Conway's Law?
4) This question has 2 parts: What architecture model does Fowler prefer and why? What architecture model does Netflix use, and why?
Be sure your responses correlate to the video. I have no set length on your responses, but a paragraph or two should suffice. I'm totally OK if you need to go over that, but it has to be relevant. You may need to do some research on the Internet. If so, please include your references.
