1. Pretend you work for a huge organization as an instructional designer. This organization is so big it has separate departments for each step of ADDIE. What department would you prefer to work in, Analysis, Design, Development, or Evaluation? Why? What would some of the advantages be in having separate departments for each phase of ADDIE? What would be some disadvantages?
2. You are the instructional designer for a nonprofit organization with a number of volunteer workers. The volunteers are often unfamiliar with the telephone system of the organization, which makes transferring calls difficult for them. What might you do to address this problem?
3. A professor of American history would like her students to develop a better understanding of what life was like in Chicago during the Roaring 20s. What instructional activities might you recommend her?
