You are a high school counselor. A 17-year old student, Latino student named Robert, is referred to you by one of his teachers. He is struggling academically and socially and admits to feeling depressed most of the time. His grades have suffered, and he has become more socially withdrawn. As a coping mechanism, he writes and plays music in his room. Following the meeting, Robert's mother calls you wanting an update on his progress.
