Assignment: Leadership Interview
For this assignment, write an essay that addresses why (or why not) the person seems to be an effective leader, responding to the following questions (these questions should form the three sections of the essay):
• What characteristics (e.g., values; personality traits; cognitions, intelligence, emotions, perceptions and expectations, situations, etc.) does the leader have?
• What behaviors does the leader exhibit?
• Does his or her leadership approach seem to work well in actual business settings? Provide illustrative examples. Regardless of "yes" or "no," explain his or her leadership effectiveness in relation to specific workplace outcomes you've learned in prior relevant coursework (e.g., justice, trust, motivation, job satisfaction, task performance, counterproductive behaviors, organizational commitment, etc.) Be critical if needed, praiseworthy if deserved!
This is the second responses for personal interview questions list with Dr. Rayan and I would like to make a report with more details about his answers for the below questions.

What experience do you have that would help you in this role?
What were your responsibilities at your current (or last) position?
What were your biggest accomplishments and failures in this position?
What major challenges and problems did you face? How did you handle them?
What do you expect from a manager?
What was it like working for your manager?
Who was your best manager and who was the worst?
What can you do for this company? Why should we hire you?
What can you contribute to this company? Why are you the best person for the job?
If the people who know you were asked why you should be hired, what would they say?
Employers also seek self-knowledge and reflectiveness in those they hire for leadership roles. Expect to be asked questions such as:
How do you evaluate success?
What is your greatest weakness?
What is your greatest strength?
How do you handle stress and pressure?
What motivates you?
What do people most often criticize about you?
Do you prefer to work independently or on a team?
You will also most likely be asked about your career path and salary expectations: Does not apply to me!
What were your starting and final levels of compensation? Why are you moving on?
What are your salary expectations?
What are you looking for in your next job? What is important to you? What are your goals for the next five years / ten years?
How do you plan to achieve those goals?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
