What energy transformations occur between glucose and ATP? The energy in glucose is transformed into the energy stored in the chemical bonds of ATP by the oxidation of glucose during three steps of (aerobic) cellular respiration:
1) Glycolysis,
2) The Kreb's Cycle(also called the Citric Acid Cycle or the Tricarboxycyclic Acid Cycle , and
3) Oxidative Phosphorylation in the Cytochrome System.
