What argument about any aspect of history of modern europe

Assignment task:

What argument about any aspect of the history of modern Europe covered in the course so far (Modules 1-5) do you most disagree with? Why do you disagree with it? You can take issue with an argument from the textbook, from one of the historical articles or from the instructor's slideshows - whether from a secondary source discussed in the slideshow or from the instructor (if you have no real disagreements then you should "play devil's advocate" with an argument from the course in order to fulfill the requirements). Your answer must be a minimum of three sentences in length.

Keep in mind that your disagreement should be with an historical commentator, not an historical actor. For instance, the statement "I disagree with what the textbook said about Napoleon" would be suitable. However, the statement "I disagree with Napoleon that slavery is sometimes ok," while laudable, would not be suitable or relevant for this answer, because Napoleon in that case would be an historical actor, not an historical commentator.

One aspect of the course material that I find somewhat contentious is the portrayal of the Industrial Revolution as an entirely positive force for progress and development in Europe. While it undoubtedly brought about significant technological advancements and economic growth, the Industrial Revolution also led to widespread social upheaval, exploitation of labor, and environmental degradation. I believe it's essential to acknowledge the darker aspects of this period, such as poor working conditions, child labor, and urban slums, in order to gain a more nuanced understanding of its impact on European society.

Is this correct? If correct, can you explain more specific?
